Our Team
Nathaniel J. Williams, Ed.D, MHS, MPA, MBA - President & Chief Executive Officer:
Dr. Williams has been the CEO of HumanWorks Affiliates, Inc., an eight cluster group of human service corporations, since 1993. Over the years, the growth of these organizations has grown from a combined budget of 400K to over 10M.
Dr. Williams was previously employed as a Director of Human Resources and Operations, Unit Director, Residence Manager, and Teaching Parent in organizations serving adults with mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, and dependent children.
Dr. Williams possesses three graduate degrees – Masters in Human Services from Lincoln University, Masters in Public Administration from Cheyney University, and a Doctorate in Education from Fielding Graduate University. Dr. Williams serves on various statewide committees focused on improving the lives of our most vulnerable citizens.
Joyce Gerber, MS, RN, BC – Executive
Director / CEO of Spectrum Community Services, Inc., Spectrum Social
Services, Inc., and Phoenix Services, Inc.:
Ms. Gerber has her Master of
Science Degree from Bellevue University and earned her Bachelor of
Nursing from Temple University. Joyce possesses over 17 years of
corporate experience in operations management with concentration in themental health field. She is certified as a Psychiatric and Mental
Health Nurse from the American Nurses Association. Joyce is a member of
American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Association for Infection
Control & Epidemiology and the National Association of Healthcare
Quality. Her focus has always been on improving performance, applying
accreditation standards and evidenced based practices, systems along
with organizational change with expertise in strategic planning,
operations and team building, health & safety, program development, and quality assurance.
Diane Seri –Executive Director:
Ms. Seri has been with HumanWorks Affiliates since 2006. Her position includes the oversight of all HumanWorks Affiliates day to day operations, with a focus on the Fiscal services. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management with a concentration in Accounting from Ashford University. She is currently pursuing an MBA. Prior to coming to HumanWorks Affiliates she worked in banking for many years and for a builder.
Terri Large, MHS, Assistant Executive Director for Infrastructure Services :
Terri Large received her Master’s in Human Service Degree with a concentration in Counseling from Lincoln University in May, 2009. Terri has been employed in the human service field for the past 15 years in various administrative positions working both with adult individuals with disabilities and neglected/dependent children and youth. She is a Parent Advocate for persons with disabilities and she has expert knowledge of special education law.
Cathy Curatola, Assistant Executive Director for Fiscal Services/Controller :
Cathy Curatola has been with HumanWorks Affiliates since 2002. Cathy has played a part in many different aspects of HumanWorks Affiliates operations over her 8 years here. Her position includes cash management and oversight of the Fiscal Department. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management with a concentration in Accounting from Ashford University and is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Finance.
